Supporting the Military

I think that the average American does support the military but, at the same time the average American doesn’t really care. The most people say is ” Thank you for your service ” . For example, I don’t really care/pay attention to the military. I just know that they sacrifice their lives to fight for our country. I think Americans, including me, should actually support thew military more and really look into what they go through just to protect us. I also think that saying ” Thank you for your service ” is not enough , we should find other ways to show that we thank and support them.
