Impacts of Markets

Markets impact my life because I buy things from them. We need some of the markets out here to survive. For example, food and water markets, humans need food and water to survive. Impacts of markets include direct benefits such as business owners in the market, job creations, sales and real estate tax revenues. They also includes indirect benefits such as enhancing the park and waterfront as a place and stimulating development downtown ( Measuring the Impact of Public Markets). Markets allow parks and other recreational things to get remodeled because some of their profit is going back into our environment.

Natural resources a country needs to fight in World War 1

Most essential natural resources are steel, iron, gun powder , food, and water. Steel and iron helped define World War 1 . They used steel in World War 1 for shoes, helmets, weapons, ammunition, tanks, and more ( Steel Museum ) . Food and water is an essential resource because that’s what people need to survive. They definitely needed water to keep themselves hydrated because I’m sure wars are very tiring. The production and use of new technologies and fighting method were made possible by the steel and iron industry.

Do you have a hero that has a mixed reputation?

No, I don’t have a hero that has a mixed reputation . There’s nobody that I look up to that has done something bad to make people look at them differently . But if I did, it would definitely depend on what they did in order for me to look at them in a different way. If the person did something like rob a store or stole money , I wouldn’t really look at them differently. But if they killed or raped somebody, then I would definitely look at them in a whole different way they wouldn’t even be a my hero anymore. Robbing and stealing is really not that serious to me but doing crimes such as murder, rape, and assault is unacceptable.

Germany

Germany participated a lot in World War 1 . First, they declared war on Russia and then they declared war on France . Germany then invades Belgium so Britain declared war on Germany. The Battle of Tannenberg is fought between Germany and Russia , and the Germans ended up defeating them Russian army ( Ducksters ) . I think that was a valid reason for Germany to enter the war because that’s what they signed up for . Austria- Hungary was apart of their alliance, so it was only right fore Germany to join.

Should the country be responsible for caring all the medical needs of veterans?

Yes, I think that the government should be responsible for caring all the medical needs of veterans . Since the government are the ones who be starting the wars , they should be held responsible. When veterans come back from fighting in the war, most of them need medical attention due to all the things they had to go through . Some have mental trauma , just overwhelmed from the whole journey. Others also may need physical rehabilitation because of body injuries. They went to war to fight for our country and to keep us safe which is important , so the least the government can do is make sure that they’re well taken care of physically and mentally. Veteran Affairs is requesting a total of $220.2 billion in fiscal year 2020 for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs , a 9.6 percent increase above fiscal 2019 ( Va. Gov ) .

How Im Apart Of My Economy

Economic is the branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth. ( Google ) I had a summer job this summer, I made $7.25 an hour and worked 120 hours which is how I’m apart of my city’s economy. I like to sometimes go to my local corner store and my local market, ShopRite, and buy beverages with the tax added. The principles of supply and demand play out every day for people making purchasing decisions on goods and services as well as in the keeping or finding employment ( Cynthia Clark ). My mom is the lady of the household so, she makes those types of decisions on a daily which can affect me.

Bad companies

An example of a company that’s morally and ethically bad is H & M and Comcast. H & M has disrespected African Americans on multiple occasions with their offensive clothing towards black people and a lot of people had things to say about it. For photo shoot purposes, they would always make the white girls look presentable while the African American girls hair wasn’t even done. Comcast was named America’s Most Hated Company due to their performance, reliability, billing, and consumer ( PCMag ) . Comcast was fined for $2.3 million over allegations of them charging customers for services they never authorized. Yes, I would still accept money from both of these companies because money is money and I could really use it.

Supporting charities and/or organization

I would support organizations that are apart of helping African Americans because that is the background that I come from. I would support organizations and charities that are for children because I love children and I want to make sure that they’re all taken care of . I would really just support and give money to charities and organizations that I can relate to or things that I’ve seen growing up . I don’t really know the name of any specific popular organizations that raises money and supports those things. But, I would definitely support the Black Lives Matter organization because that’s something that I believe is important and I support the cause.

Jeff Bezos

Yes, I think Jeff Bezos is a hardworking individual and he is entitled to his money. He’s the one that started this whole big company by first starting in his garage, he started from the bottom and now he on top. But I do feel like he doesn’t really have to put in much work as he really did because his business has blossomed so much over the years. Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $109.4 Billion ( Forbes). Jeff Bezos founded the online retailer Amazon in late 1994 and it started as an online bookstore. It has expanded over the years to a wide variety of multiple things.
